The company «VITERRA SEED» LLC was established in August 2020 in Ukraine (100% investments of Saaten-Union Romania Srl.) supported by two German breeding companies:

NORDSAAT Saatzucht GmbH

Basis of the company's activity is breeding of varieties and hybrids of various crops as well as testing, marketing and production of quality seeds. The company has a wide portfolio of varieties and hybrids of sunflower, maize, winter wheat and barley, soybeans, fodder beans, chickpeas and other crops. VITERRA SEED LLC is focusing on developing a product portfolio especially for countries and regions in Eastern Europe with unstable precipation conditions (Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Greece, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Ukraine). For the steppe of Ukraine and other central regions, a wide range of hybrids of sunflower, maize and winter wheat are currently developed and introduced.

The company has a whole network of its own seed production plants in Germany, Romania, Hungary, Italy, as well as some additional capacity of our partners.

VITERRA SEED LLC is focused on supporting import hybrid seeds of sunflower and maize, and also basic seeds of cereals and legumes for further multiplication by our partners in the Ukraine.

Strategic goals of the company are to supply agricultural producers with high-quality seeds, based on scientific and practical research and testing, selection of adapted varieties and hybrids for all regions and taking into account using them at technological growing schemes with different levels of intensity.
